泽村一树主演朝日台木曜推理档2019年最新系列“刑事ゼロ”，由「相棒」和「科搜研之女」的推理界旗手户田山雅司担任编剧，与泽村刚刚合作过「绝对零度3」的横山克担任配乐。本剧属于每回1话完结的刑事剧，收视率为2019年1-3月冬季档冠军。 　　主角京都府警搜查一课的精英刑警时矢历彦（泽村一树饰），20年 前遭遇了坠落事故。醒来后虽然也能记得日常生活的事，但性格变得不够自信很在意周围的眼光， 并失去成为刑警后的所有记忆，只留下与生具来的优秀五感和洞察力，以及对罪恶根源的憎恨和正义感。就像一个经验为零的刑警，却能以意想不到的方式解决案件。至于他失去记忆的原因除了追捕犯人时受伤，更是因为知道某个秘密而出现的心理影响。虽然离过一次婚，但与妻子相关的记忆也丢失了。 　　泽村表示今次有如“新参者”那样带着清新的感觉加入到木曜推理长寿剧系列大家庭，对此感到很荣幸。自己虽然过去演过很多刑警角色，今次时矢的设定则从未演过。此外舞台在京都，能拍到东京拍不到的美丽景色，也能感受到在京都的人情味及风情，希望可以为大家带来不同世代也能享受的新型悬疑剧。 　　他的拍档是新人女刑警佐相智佳（泷本美织饰），智佳恋爱经验很少，一直非常倾慕过去精明干练的时矢，把他调查过的案件全部记在脑中，在时矢失忆后成为他的“使用说明书”，让他以五感及观察力配合从智佳口中所知的过去经验而破案。现实生活中相差24岁、身高相差22公分的两人在剧中展现出大反差而有趣的互动。泷本表示在电视看到泽村时觉得他超级帅气，她本身就喜欢有幽默感到男性，而他既帅气又有趣，而且演出角色范围很广，是什么都能做到的出色演员，也是她的理想类型，故此十分期待共演。
